Free Period Products at 1PSQ

Free Period Products will be available in the women's bathroom on level 1 as part of the Spring Semester trial.

We’ve partnered with Australian social enterprise Pixii to provide these eco-friendly period products. Pixii is an Australian owned and run social enterprise, donating 50% of profits to educating girls around the world.

Pixii also ensures that the entire supply chain from farm to bathroom is carbon negative. All Pixii period products are hygienically wrapped in either recyclable paper or a biodegradable bio-film and they are made from 100% organic cotton.

About Share the Dignity

Since Share the Dignity was founded in 2015, they have donated over 3 million period products to those who menstruate, through their Dignity Drives and #ItsInTheBag campaign.

Menstruating isn’t a choice, but those experiencing period poverty often must choose between purchasing period products or other essential items just to get by.  We’d rather they didn’t have to choose.

Share the Dignity is on a mission to ensure all who menstruate have access to period products when they need them. That’s why twice a year in March and August, they call on Australians to donate period products through their Dignity Drives, to be distributed to registered charities across the country.
