Conducting Research

After selecting your research topic and developing your research questions, you'll want to find, evaluate and analyse information on your topic.

You'll want to stay current on your research topic, so you don't miss any new information in your field.

Perhaps you need to perform a literature review, or a systematic review.

As every researcher is different, so is every research topic and how you approach it. Will you perform qualitative, quantitative or mixed method research?

Regardless of your approach, evaluating sources for any information you find is critical.

Locating theses and  relevant research data may be part of your journey, too.
