21C Festival of Action

Find your people, find your purpose, find your cause.

Are you in?

Wednesday 27 July, 10am to 2pm
Parramatta South Library (Building EN)

The Festival of Action is a one-day event that brings together like-minded students, staff and external partners to get involved in social and climate action.

The festival creates opportunities for conversations that prioritise equity and justice. It creatively links the classroom to the community in action, offering students and staff several ways to engage at a local level.

The event will raise awareness, interactions, imagination, and collectivity build communities, supporting Western students to create equitable and just futures in the present.

Create, debate and play!

On the day participants will be able to find their communities and causes through a range of creative and interactive activities.

Find us inside and outside the Library, rain, hail or shine on Wednesday, 27th July between 10am - 2pm.

Organised by the Future Thinkers team from the 21C Project.

Who are Future Thinkers?

Future Thinkers (FT) Challenge is one of five Curriculum Challenges of the 21C Project - a university-wide initiative to transform curriculum and create transdisciplinary learning experiences for students through partnership pedagogies.

The FT team is committed to co-creating curricula with students that centres on equity and justice. We encourage Western students to manage the complexities, contradictions and crises they face and think differently about the world and what we are becoming.

For us, learning is more than an abstraction: future thinkers are actors creating transformative changes in the world.
