Readings & Resources for Your Subject

You can access the readings your Subject Coordinator has assigned for the subject via the “Reading & Resources list” in your subject vUWS’s site. You can also search for your subject code in the Library Search box by doing an advanced search, selecting “Reading List Resources” and searching for your subject code.

Reading List Resources prioritise digitally accessible resources. Occasionally print items will be included which you can borrow from the library.

Short Loan items

Physical items on a reading list are made available with shorter loan and penalty periods. These items may only be borrowed by current Western Sydney University students & staff. Short Loan items must be returned to the campus library from which they were borrowed.

Subject Guides

Subject Guides are a list of quality resources created by a Librarian to assist with your research needs in a particular area. They are a great place to find the important e-resources in a particular field, and to discover lesser-known research materials.

Subject Outlines

Subject outlines are available from the Library Search Box. You can search for them by the subject number (e.g. LAWS7009) or subject title (e.g. Commercial Law).
