This open textbook introduces students to core principles of people management and organisational analysis across contemporary business contexts. Drawing on real-world case studies and an examination of stakeholder roles, the text explores the dynamic nature of work from multiple perspectives, with a particular focus on organisational capability and industry development. The book also examines the role of people and organisations within society, engaging with Indigenous perspectives and embedding employability-focused discussion and activities that support the development of communication skills, cultural awareness and reflective practice.
