A warm welcome to our new and returning students in Autumn session.  The Library is here to help you settle into this teaching session and succeed at your studies.

QR CODE CHECK IN
Before entering the Library, please remember to check in using the QR code at the Library entrance. If you do not have a QR code enabled phone, look for the short web address on the entrance signage and check in via a device browser such as Google Chrome, Safari or FireFox etc.

OPENING HOURS
As a Western student, you can visit all eight campus libraries. View opening hours for each campus library. 

STUDY SPACES
The Library provides a variety of study spaces to suit the way you like to study. Choose student group study rooms for collaborative work, relax in open study areas, quiet and silent study spaces allow for focused study. Each study area has accompanying requirements and noise limits – check the Study Spaces webpage for more details.

LIBRARY STUDY HALL ACCESS
Library Study Hall is back for Autumn session at identified campus libraries. Study Hall occurs when regular Library services on campus are closed — Study Hall hours vary, so check the opening hours for your campus. Remember that access during Study Hall hours is by tap or swipe access for Western students and staff only, so make sure you bring your current Western ID card for entry to Study Hall.

The ‘Get to know your Library’ guide is a great starting point for finding out about essential facilities and services at your library.

Refresh or sharpen your study skills with library online tutorials.

The Library Study Smart website has a wealth of resources to improve your assignments, links to book a one-to-one Zoom session with a Study Smart Librarian or Study Smart Officer and downloadable ‘how-to’ guides.
