November System Updates

Western ITDS and our external vendors undergo regular, scheduled IT upgrades and maintenance to ensure platform security and continuous improvement to all of the Library digital services. Regular maintenance periods are scheduled to minimise the impact on the vital operations to all students and staff. Thank you for your understanding, while we undertake this essential system maintenance.

System notifications for this month are:

Friday 13th November: ResearchDirect Outage
Between 1am - 6am on Friday 13th November, the ResearchDirect platform will undergo system updates. There will be disruptions to accessing the platform during this timeframe and as a result staff and researchers will not be able to submit publications into the Library's ResearchDirect repository system.

Tuesday 17th November: Whitlam Prime Ministerial Collection
The Whitlam Prime Ministerial Collection database will be upgraded on Tuesday, 17th November. We are expecting a downtime between 9:00-9:30am. If you experience any issues after the allotted time, please do not hesitate to contact Online Librarian with your query.

Thursday 19th November 2020: OneStop upgrade
The OneStop platform will be upgraded on Thursday 19th November 2020. Some features may be unavailable throughout the day, such as:

  *   Library Fee payments
  *   Adding credit to Photocopy and Printing accounts
