Library Handle Web Outage

ITDS has regular, scheduled IT outages to ensure improvement, upgrades and maintenance to all of our IT services to improve the digital experience for all. Regular maintenance periods are scheduled to minimise the impact on the vital operations to all students and staff.

  As a result, there will be a brief disruption to the Library's main Handle application that will start at 5:00pm Friday 30/11/2018 and finish at 5:00pm Thursday 06/12/2018.

 The main Handle service links our Research Publications in the Library ResearchDirect Repository. These handles are used by external parties to cite the resources in publications and documents.

 During this extended outage, these handle URLs will not resolve to the expected resource. This is only temporary and normal service will resume at the conclusion of the outage.
