Outage - Library self-submission for research publications

ITDS has regular, scheduled IT outages to ensure improvement, upgrades and maintenance to all of our IT services to improve the digital experience for all. Regular maintenance periods are scheduled to minimise the impact on the vital operations to all students and staff.

As a result, there will be an extended disruption to the Library's research publication self-submission service that will start at 5:00pm Friday 16/11/2018 and finish by 5:00pm Wednesday 21/11/2018.

The Library collects publications for the purposes of internal reporting and the University’s Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) submission which is prepared by Research Engagement, Development & Innovation (REDI).

During this extended outage, staff and researchers will not be able to submit publications into the Library's ResearchDirect repository system. Processing time frames for publication records may also be impacted by the outage. Please contact lib-research@westernsydney.edu.au if you have concerns.
