Official opening of the John Phillips Library on the Penrith Campus

The new Penrith Library was officially named the John Phillips Library by the NSW Governor,  the Hon David Hurley, at the opening ceremony yesterday.

Named in honour of our late Western Sydney University Emeritus Chancellor Mr John Phillips, the opening was timed to coincide with what would have been Mr Phillips birthday.
