The webinar outlines the main platforms, strategies to select and maintain the most appropriate one for you and how to link authorised open access versions of your publications to your profiles. Effective use of Twitter and Facebook and will also be discussed.

Alternative Measures of Research Impact (Altmetrics).

Presented by Susan Robbins (Research Services Coordinator, Library) and Rohini Patil (Nursing & Midwifery Librarian).

Who is tweeting about your research? How many people have downloaded your paper? Altmetrics (article level metrics) can answer these and other related questions about the immediate impact of your research. This webinar demonstrates how to access Altmetrics for your research output and weave them into impact statements for grant/promotion applications. How and where to make open access versions of your publications available to boost their Altmetrics is also discussed.
