Library Membership


Registrations for Corporate, Community and High School borrowing are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak and associated containment strategies. Access to Western Sydney University libraries has been restricted to current Western staff and students only.

Currently registered Alumni borrowers should contact the Library regarding access.

Library Membership: Alumni / Community / Corporate / High Schools

Members of the public are able to borrow from the Western Sydney University Library under the following membership arrangements.

Please note: Library membership does not include Document Delivery, Intercampus requests, borrowing Reserve Collection material or electronic devices, or access to the Library's electronic resources unless otherwise specified.

Alumni members

Western Sydney University Alumni members have borrowing access upon presentation of their current GradLife card. Western Sydney University graduates and former staff should contact the Office of Advancement and Alumni ( or 9685 9500) or register online to obtain this card.

Alumni members have off-campus access to a limited range of e-resources.

Community members

Members of the public may have borrowing access upon presentation of photo identification and payment of $100 for 12 months registration.

Members under 18 years of age require written parental/guardian authorisation.

Corporate Members

Companies interested in corporate borrowing should apply to the Director of Library Services.

High School Members

Borrowing privileges are provided to members of the Nirimba Education Precinct as outlined in any current Borrowing Agreements. Contact the Library for further information.
