The Library provides a variety of spaces for your use. Each area is designed to meet different study needs and requires different behaviours.

Know Your Study Spaces

Open Study Areas
  • Individuals up to medium-sized groups (1 – 8 people) for study purposes (see Library Code of Conduct)
  • Moderate noise not heard beyond your group.
  • Phones on silent and not used in speaker mode.
  • Covered food and drink.
  • Please place rubbish in bins.

  • Small to medium sized groups (2 - 8 people) for study purposes (see Student Group Study Rooms and Library Code of Conduct).
  • Moderate noise not heard beyond your room.
  • Bookings take preference over walk-in use.
  • Phones on silent.
  • Covered food and drink.
  • Please place rubbish in bins.

  • Individuals up to small groups of 1 – 3 people.
  • Quiet conversations only.
  • Phones on silent and used in Open Study Areas.
  • Covered food and drinks.
